Children will play a game of snakes and ladders. Cut out the words and place them face down on the table. Get your child to pick a word. Turn it over. If they can read the word, they may throw the dice and move their counter the appropriate number of squares. If they cannot read the word, they miss their turn. This game is ideal played with two children. It helps children practise their reading in a fun, non-pressured way.
